The HT Group is recruiting for an ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER for a Credit Union based in Tyler Texas. Our client is looking for an amazing leader to join their team as a Direct Hire!

PAY: $56 - $62k (DOE)

Location: 75702

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise, coach, and train the Teller line

Ensure staff is well trained on policies & procedures, as well as products and services available

Cross sell and referrer products and services to members and non-members

Address/resolve escalated members complaints professionally, efficiently, and timely

Schedule/manage the daily activities of the branch

Assist with platform coverage when necessary

Research/reconcile accounts

Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the branch

Create/promote a positive first impression to assist in establishing strong member relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's in management or related field is preferred

A minimum of 2 years' experience in banking operations or similar environment

Experience working in a Credit Union, Bank Teller Operations, and with banking products/services

Experience with account reconciliation, balancing, and other cash handling procedures

A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role

Must have the knowledge and ability to coach and develop a team of tellers

Highly attentive to detail and organized

Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Must be able to work Saturdays, as needed

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

A high school diploma is required

Must pass a background check ( 7 years - No felonies, theft, or violence )

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5PM (Saturdays as needed)

TESTING: Will be required on applicable skills and/or software
